The bug
This sound event is completely unused in normal gameplay and can only be accessed via commands. Either it should become used in normal gameplay in some form, or removed from the game entirely alongside its assets (since anyone willing to use it can just add it back in as a custom sound event via a resource pack anyway).

Its presence doesn't hurt anything, just another sound for servers to use as affects without a resource pack needing to be installed every time.
Any game is going to have unused content, it's almost unavoidable.
Zombies should punch iron doors trying to break them, playing this sound. (Note: remember that they aren't able to break iron doors, so this is a nice proposal to fix this)
Reporting unused assets (that includes sound events) doesn't make them feature requests. The resolution can be 3 things: WAI, fixed by removal, or fixed by using.
With MC-266163 being intended, perhaps it's a good time to make this event used for breaking copper doors, rather than the wooden door one.
