Minecraft launcher is not starting

My Minecraft launcher has not started since about a year. Since then I have been playing on badlion client because it still works there. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the minecraft launcher several times. My Java version is up to date. The minecraft launcher updates are carried out, but the launcher will still not start.
