The Bug
Dirt path looks identical to dirt on maps, and does not have it's own lighter brown color. See my attached images for a visual representation.
Steps to Reproduce
Summon a square of dirt path and dirt.
/fill ~3 ~ ~3 ~9 ~ ~9 minecraft:dirt_path /fill ~-3 ~ ~-3 ~-9 ~ ~-9 minecraft:dirtObtain an empty map and use it.
Look at the color of the dirt path and the dirt on the map.
❌ → Notice how dirt path uses the same color as dirt on maps.
Expected Behavior:
The expected behavior would be that the dirt path would not use the same color as dirt on maps.

I updated the description of this report to say ''dirt path'' instead of ''grass path'', since that is now the new name of the item. Someone else had already renamed the title of the report. I also added 1.17 to affected versions, per confirmation by Avoma.
I am able to confirm this behavior in 21w38a. Here are some extra details regarding this problem.
