The Bug:
Decorations can occasionally replace logs that support mineshafts when generating.
Just for clarification reasons, decoration blocks are blocks such as grass, moss carpet, azalea, dripleaf, cave vines, pointed dripstone etc...
Here is an example:
Version: 1.18.1
Seed: -7637587106394010081
Coordinates: /execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @s 71247.81 -22.00 -62.01 -1316.63 7.95
Steps to Reproduce:
Generate a world with the seed provided above and teleport to the given coordinates.
Look closely at the generation of the mineshaft and how nearby decorations intersect its supporting logs.
Take note as to whether or not decorations can occasionally replace logs that support mineshafts when generating.
Observed Behavior:
Decorations replace logs that support mineshafts.
Expected Behavior:
Decorations would not replace logs that support mineshafts.

Here are some other blocks that are affected, based on older tickets (which should be resolved as a duplicate of this one). The repo steps can be found in the linked ticket.
Can confirm in 21w37a.

This issue was present in 22w03a, but no longer occurs in versions above or equal to 22w05a, very likely due to the fix of MC-216004. With this being said, this issue has been fixed in 22w05a.
EDIT: And to clear up the confusion of why 22w05a is marked as affected, I guess that was just a mistake made by myself which I do apologize for.

I can confirm that for grass. Not sure about tall grass and azalea bushes however
