[MC-221359] Slime Blocks not interacting with floating entities

I built a flying machine powered kelp farm on a server. After the kelp is broken and floating on the top of the water, the flying machine (made from slime blocks) will not interact with the floating kelp.

OptiFine is a third-party modification. Please make sure this issue still occurs in a vanilla environment.
