Okay so I don't know how or why, but every time I boot the game and load a single player world, the progress bar reaches 100% and then shows me an error; "Connection Failed: Disconnected" after which it boots be to the server select menu for multiplayer. Subsequent attempts to load a single player world do not cause this though, only the first attempt after booting the game.
