Sugar canes are being generated very rarely around rivers, and in rivers modified with cave entrances they don't even appear.
This problem occurs in the creative and in the survival mode.
This makes the player need to explore a lot to find this item that is very common.
How to reproduce :flag_on:
Create a new world in 21w13a.
Find a river and start flying over it.
You will find almost no sugar cane. 👎

World Type:
"Default" if you have not chosen one when creating the world.
For "Superflat": Additionally provide the generation preset.
For "Buffet": Additionally provide the generator type and biome you have selected.
Additional generation settings (in case you changed them): E.g. "Generate Structures", "Bonus Chest", ...
Seed: Can be obtained by using the
/seedcommand and clicking on the message in chatCoordinates: Can be copied to clipboard by pressing
