Magma Cubes don't make sound while on lava

Why should they make a sound?

You can get sneak attacked by them because they don't make sound.

They only make the magma cube squishes sound when jumping from the gound and landing on the ground. On lava they are swimming, so I don’t see why they should make a sound.

They make swimming sounds in actual water it doesn't make sense that they don't make sound when they're swimming in lava as well.

The sounds that they make in water is the splashing sound. The splashing sound doesn’t play when falling into lava, so magma cubes not making them in lava is probably intended.

I am able to confirm this behavior in 21w43a. Here are some extra details regarding this problem.

The Bug:

Magma cubes don't make any sounds when jumping on lava.

Steps to Reproduce:

• Summon a large field of lava.

/fill ~1 ~-1 ~1 ~15 ~-3 ~15 minecraft:lava

• Summon a magma cube on top of the field of lava.

• Listen closely as the magma cube jumps on the lava.

• Take note as to whether or not magma cubes make any sounds when jumping on lava.

Observed Behavior:

Magma cubes don't make any sounds when jumping on lava.

Expected Behavior:

Magma cubes would make some sounds when jumping on lava.

Can confirm in 1.18.1.

Can confirm in 1.18.2 and 1.19 Pre-release 4.

Can confirm in 1.19.2.
