Trident with Loyalty disappears when thrown, if the owner has full inventory

If you throw a Trident, enchanted with Loyalty, and you pick something up while Trident is thrown, upon return you hear the sound of an item picked up, however, Trident is not in your inventory nor on the ground. It's gone.
