When you throw a loyalty trident, it will disappear completely when it returns to you and your inventory is full.
To reproduce
Fill your inventory completely
Run
/item entity @s weapon.offhand replace minecraft:trident{Enchantments:[{id:"minecraft:loyalty",lvl:3s}]}Switch to Survival mode
Throw the trident
→ ❌ The trident will disappear

How is this a duplicate of MC-125422? The trident didn't fly around my player, it completely vanished
Can confirm. The trident just vanishes completely. Additionally a 'plopping' sound plays, as if you would pick it up. But you don't.
We do not have enough information to find the cause of this issue.
