[MC-224202] Minecraft crashes every time I try to enter the nether

Every time I try to enter the nether portal, it crashes and gives an error. The exit code is 0.

I have Java on windows 10 and run optifine. It's been doing this on and off for months, lasting days at a time. It said it was resolved, but it keeps doing it.

it is because you dont wear gold while going to nether portal

You seem to be using a non-vanilla client. Try replicating the bug with a vanilla client.
