I can confirm that this happens on the Samsung Tab S7+ on version 1.21.100.
You could try contacting mojang support about this issue.
Resetting* sorry
Did you try reseting your computer?
This is because soul speed (and frost walker) is applicable only in the `EquipmentSlot.FEET` slot, but horse armor is equipped in the `EquipmentSlot.BODY` slot.
Feather falling works only because it's applicable to all armor for some reason—if you equip a chestplate with feather falling, you'll see it still works.
Hey!
It's been a little while but thought i'd share some updated thoughts that might help - not sure if it will fully work tho. You could try forcefully removing the packs from the world by:
Downloading the world again
Go to the resource packs section, click the pack that you don't want and then click the tick icon. Here, you should see the file directory for the pack.
Using file explorer, navigate to the folder that Minecraft told you. You might have to do Windows+R and type "appdata" to get to the right folder.
When you have located the pack in the world folder, double click and check the "manifest.json". You should see a section with "UUID" - take note of this. There also may be 2, take note of both. You can also now delete the folder that the unwanted resource pack is in.
Next, delete the "resource packs history.json" file and open the "world resource packs.json" file. Here, there should be a section with the same UUID(s) that you noted from the previous step. If there is, delete that section - the pack version and UUID. If there isn't any UUID that matches, continue with the next step.
Relaunch Minecraft and open the world. The problematic resource pack should be gone. If there are a bunch of missing textures, it means that the UUID is still present in the "world resource packs.json" file.
Reset your realm, then after this, upload your fixed world onto the realm.
If you have unwanted behaviour packs applied too, follow the same steps but for the "world behaviour packs" file.
This might not work but I can't think of any other way to completely get rid of it! Hope this helps and if you have any questions or get stuck let me know 🙂
It looks like there's a missing texture pack.
If you go into the world settings, check that both the required resource packs and behaviour packs are enabled.
Other than that, if you're looking for addons I'd recommend mcpedl.com for free addons and packs made by the community 🙂
I believe this is linked to MCPE-175700 and https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-152734
Maybe an issue linked to Minecraft not using enough memory or accessing it right?
I've had this issue before - really annoying. I don't know if this has been mostly fixed now - if it hasn't, try this:
Download your world using a backup (this might take some progress) or the "Download World" button for the most recent world
Click the edit button (pencil) and go to resource packs
Remove all of the packs and play it to make sure that the packs aren't there.
Then, on your realm, click "Reset Realm" to erase everything and give you a new world.
Finally, click "Replace World" and select the one that you downloaded and let Realms do it's thing.
That should remove it all.
@unknown I'm pretty sure that Java doesn't have a marketplace for addons - you guys have mods 🙂
This isn't a bug, as the game reverted to the last autosave before your Xbox turned off. This is expected behaviour
@ThinkerMaker interesting. I'm pretty sure Image Map (software I'm using to add them to the game) downsamples them automatically, so I'm not sure if this is directly related but it's worth noting! Yeah let's hope it gets addressed sometime soon
This issue is really annoying. Trying to build a custom map for my friends and it uses maps to import images and make graphics.
Just hit the 3500 mark, and this exact issue started.
Please fix this Mojang!!
You mention using RTX resource packs - These are only available for RT-capable graphics cards.
Deferred Rendering is not locked to RTX cards.
I'd try it with this pack https://mcpedl.com/lynx-deferred-pbr/ and see if it is still an issue
Since the update too I've noticed that there is a massive lag spike when someone leaves the nether on my realm. After a few seconds it catches up.
Not sure if it's related but thought I might mention it anyway!
Mojang should just make the censorship optional - It would solve the incorrect censorship, and at the end of the day me and my friends want to hang out and have fun.
It happens on Bedrock realms too. 2 of the possible 10 people were online, and we were in the same area. For each of us the game still let us move and place blocks, but we couldn't interact with anything. Shortly after, we were disconnected and the game rolled back 30mins of progress. World size is about 250MB, and we have a few resource packs enabled.
Had this bug a few days ago, made me really confused. Here are some screenshots I got from my Realm while using Defined PBR:
Also something to note is that when I broke blocks, the block dropped but (visually) it stayed there and didn't break.
Another side note - I'm using a 3D texture pack over the RTX pack I was using, so if the textures look like they're ray tracing - they are actually just a custom x64 texture.
Installing BetterRTX seemed to fix the issue, haven't noticed it since.
Same problem for me but it’s been happening since v1.20.3 in my case.
Tested with multiple versions of Java and on a clean Ubuntu install; same issue.
