A random Pack adds its self to my realm

For some reason, a random pack keeps adding its self to my realm. I don't know why but it messes up multiple textures, like spyglasses and some dyes. Please help. In the screen-shot below it is the escape room one.

I've had this issue before - really annoying. I don't know if this has been mostly fixed now - if it hasn't, try this:

  1. Download your world using a backup (this might take some progress) or the "Download World" button for the most recent world

  2. Click the edit button (pencil) and go to resource packs

  3. Remove all of the packs and play it to make sure that the packs aren't there.

  4. Then, on your realm, click "Reset Realm" to erase everything and give you a new world.

  5. Finally, click "Replace World" and select the one that you downloaded and let Realms do it's thing.

That should remove it all.

try this: click the undesiderated pack, click the ceck, delete the pack, close the dashboard

This is happening in my realm with the same exact pack. I don't own that pack at all and don't understand why it is adding itself to my world. This is happening 1.21.1.

Tried the suggestion by Sam but unfortunately it did not work.

Hey!

It's been a little while but thought i'd share some updated thoughts that might help - not sure if it will fully work tho. You could try forcefully removing the packs from the world by:

  1. Downloading the world again

  2. Go to the resource packs section, click the pack that you don't want and then click the tick icon. Here, you should see the file directory for the pack.

  3. Using file explorer, navigate to the folder that Minecraft told you. You might have to do Windows+R and type "appdata" to get to the right folder.

  4. When you have located the pack in the world folder, double click and check the "manifest.json". You should see a section with "UUID" - take note of this. There also may be 2, take note of both. You can also now delete the folder that the unwanted resource pack is in.

  5. Next, delete the "resource packs history.json" file and open the "world resource packs.json" file. Here, there should be a section with the same UUID(s) that you noted from the previous step. If there is, delete that section - the pack version and UUID. If there isn't any UUID that matches, continue with the next step.

  6. Relaunch Minecraft and open the world. The problematic resource pack should be gone. If there are a bunch of missing textures, it means that the UUID is still present in the "world resource packs.json" file.

  7. Reset your realm, then after this, upload your fixed world onto the realm.

If you have unwanted behaviour packs applied too, follow the same steps but for the "world behaviour packs" file.

This might not work but I can't think of any other way to completely get rid of it! Hope this helps and if you have any questions or get stuck let me know 🙂
