I can not see skins

Hi

I have had an issue with seeing skins for a while now, but i have been persuaded to contact support, which is what i did after trying to fix it myself. I cant see my own, or anyone else's skin, while others can see everyone's, including mine.

I tried deleting the content of .minecraft/assents/skins/ (which i saw for a similar bug's fix back in 1.9), logging out of the launcher and the logging back in, changing skins around, checking if any software could be incompatible with minecraft (i do not have any installed apart from discord and NVIDIA, but both overlays are disabled), allowed minecraft through the firewall's network filter, and turned the skin settings off and on (as someone's idea), these didnt fix it.

In the support discord server, a helper came to the conclusion that this is a specific issue and redirected me to here, telling me to seek help from here. They also said to post this specific line:
"[Warning: 2021-04-26 09:23:15.1373706: SentryAPI.cpp(148)] Failed to parse parameters to run method 'activateSkin': Failed to parse parameters to run method 'activateSkin'.skin.readOnly: Unknown key"

Before the making of the log, i quit the game, switched skins 3 times, to steve, to alex, and then finally back to mine, after which i launched the game.

Edit: A thought i had, that i should have had. I went and looked if i can see my skin in singleplayer, and yes, i can. Like the dumb person i can be, i completely forgot to do that. So, conclusion, this only happens in multiplayer. There is a fix, but its not something i can do, there is a plug-in that makes it so that i can pick any skin that is stored in the database, and on a server that had that plug-in, i saw skins without any issues.
