Sometimes Trees will get cut off at chunk borders. If it helps, I am using data packs. I did have this problem before though with the previous snapshot without any world generation changing datapacks.
I have linked a photo more or less to show they get cut off at the chunk borders.

Can you reproduce the issue on a vanilla (mod, data pack, etc. free) world?

Not sure if this is caused by MC-224729. Can you please answer the following questions:
Was this world generated with 21w18a or is this an old world?
Did you log out of the world between world creation and observing this glitch?
Was the picture taken anywhere near the spawn chunks? (11 chunks away from worldspawn, to be more precise)
