All the beehives near my house are completely vacant, and I am not killing them off, and I cannot find them

Please make sure that bees cannot despawn, because what is going on is beehives generate, the bees despawn, and now there are a bunch of vacant beehives

I had like 5 beehives nearby and now all of them are vacant, and I did not do anything

I have had the same issue. Bees have disappeared from bee hives and bee nests after updating to 1.17.

I had two populations of bees in my spawn chunks: about 20 inside an enclosed room with assorted hives and flowers, and a smaller number in the open. After upgrading from 1.16.5 to 1.17, I noticed that all these bees were gone.
