Oh no that's why it looks correct to you I guess it was fixed a long time ago I am using a very old version, 1.7.10. However, I can say with certainty that this bug is not caused by malfunctioning resource packs or modifications, I presume this bug already exists since it's been fixed between now and 1.7.10, where is the original bug report?
But before you resolve it, it might apply to the dropped item on the side face that isn't visible in the inventory.

I think this should not be fixed because falling blocks are still supposed to be blocks. If blocks cant glow why should falling blocks? it srsly makes no sense.
No. I just tried /kill @e[type=sheep] and it said no entity was found, though it still persists. It seems blocks are getting broken out of nothing
