horses cant travel back from the nether

i decide to take my horse to the nether... and if you have tried, you should know that rideing your horse to the nether is imposible!, BUT you can push him into the gate, and he will GO to the nether.

but now things get interesting.... its imposible to take him back!!! i tried to ride him back, to push him into the gate, i tried in creative, survival, and the horse wont come back!... he became a permanent nether horse.

i dont know if this is a bug? or if takeing your horse to the nether is the actual bug?
