The bug
As of 1.17 pre-1, candles have a new texture when they are lit. Cakes with candles, however, do not use the new lit textures.
How to reproduce
Place some candles.
Place some cakes with candles.
Light them.
✔ Candles use new textures.
❌ Candle cakes do not.
