Ocelots despawn randomly from your world
Steps to reproduce:
1-Move to a chunk outside the spawn chunks
2-Make Fences and spawn ocelots (I tried with /summon ocelot)
3a - Go away from the chunk so all the entities unload and reload it
3b - You can also exit and re-enter the world
Result: Ocelot will have despawned

IIRC passive mobs shouldn't despawn, only hostiles. Otherwise you'd never be able to keep an animal farm running.
Ocelots are unique in this behavior and are part of the hostile mob cap.
Fish, dolphins and squids also despawn, but have an own mobcap and they don't despawn anymore after you pick them up with a bucket once.

Isn't this just normal entity despawning? Why shouldn't the ocelot despawn?
