[MC-228110] When items fall in lava, they dont make sounds no more

Yesterday I was mining and I found out, that when items fall in lava, they don't make no sound no more.
Also I checked in my settings and it was as the same as the 1.16.5, where I could listen to this sound that now is missing.

I am unable to reproduce this issue in 1.17. Please provide some screenshots or videos of this issue occurring whilst the F3 debug screen is enabled.
