When I try to load a new Survival World, Minecraft crashes.

So when I try to create a new world and open it in 1.17, everything goes fine until it gets to the part of "Saving World". From there Minecraft 1.17 stops responding and then crashes. I'm not sure if it's a bug that has to do with Mojang, though I was wondering if someone could help me troubleshoot it.

I added a video to help, half of the video is me waiting. When you see my cursor disappear at the Saving World part is when Minecraft stops responding. After I try to wait for it to respond, another message pops up prompting me to close the program for wait longer.

Thanks

There was no crash report and the launcher log is too big! What should I do?

Okay, I zipped the file.

Looks similar to MC-148866, can you try the fix described in this comment?

It worked! Thanks so much for your help!

Glad I could help. Until MC-148866 is fixed you will need to resort to this workaround in case it happens again.

We'll close your ticket as a duplicate.
