For a while, my Minecraft launcher screen hasn't been the Minecraft portal launcher screen, but a screen that I believe was used back in the 1.6.93 days. I didn't own Minecraft in that period, and I didn't do anything to purposely change the launcher to be that way. It's quite frustrating because it hinders me fro
[media]m being able to access certain features like updates and skin changes.

Try to reinstall the entire game
Go to %appdata%, find your .Minecraft folder and delete it, but save your worlds/screenshots and versions if you must.
Then go to control panel and delete the game. Reinstall the whole game and maybe that should fix your launcher issue.
