When I am going to test some mods or other mechanisms or building something in creative superflat mode, the pesky slimes are always disturbing it! Plz remove slimes from superflat creative mode! Plz fix this so that no slimes could be automatically spawned in superflat creative mode. If I want to spawn, I should spawn it with a spawn egg!
I downloaded a mod named "No slimes in superflat mode" , It removed all slimes in that mode. When I was going to spawn with a spawn egg, no slimes spawn! I want to test slimes sometimes but slimes sometimes disturbs me in my other tests.
Plz fix it Mojang!
Thank you!
I have the problem in 1.16.5 and 1.17 both.

Sorry, I wrote the feature mistakenly. You see that bug means problem and Slimes disturbing in Superflat is a problem to me when I am trying to test mechanisms and build structures.

You can always place a repeat command block with the command "/tp @e[type=slime] ~ -3 ~", or set the doMobSpawning gamerule to false.
HI, Slimes spawn because of a thing called "Slime chunks" no this is not a bug, this is how slime spawns in a chunk, if you go to Chunkbase and slime chunks, youll see all of the slime chunks, there is no possible way to remove it, only Peaceful or a command to constantly kill them, either way a datapack or modification can allow you to remove them, although its no longer Vanilla minecraft.
P.S: Not a bug.

You want to set doMobSpawning to false. This will still allow you to summon slimes without them spawning everywhere.
Thank you guys for the solution!
