MC-249927 is about the fact that it can be used on that block. This report is about the fact that it returns the wrong item. These tickets are related but they are not the same.

Since 1.18 beaches can generate bigger than before. This is a normal game behaviour.

Are you sure bees are supposed to do that? Last time I leashed a bee to a fence in real life it died instead of freezing in place.

I've tested it with an oak sapling and some water above it. Try this instead! Sadly cannot attach a video at the moment, I did not account to azaleas

The whole point of mobGriefing is to prevent unwanted interactions of mobs with the world, and mobs picking up items counts.

This report could be expanded to include water blocks that don't have a waterlogged: false state such as seagrass so both reports would be valid.
