[MC-230611] tamed dog attacking me

i accidentally punched my wolf after then it kept attacking me whenever it stood up (it cant) i used water to make it stand up but it attacks me then sits when its out of the water

Please provide some screenshots or videos of this issue occurring whilst the F3 debug screen is enabled.

Are you sure it was tamed? If you punched it and then tried to tame it I don't think it would calm down or take the bones. It could've been a friends dog if it was on a multiplayer server. Then hitting the dog or the owner would anger the dog.
