What I expected to happen was...:
I thought I could drag and craft with ease as normal
What actually happened was...:
Dragging to craft does not work as well as shift-clicking does not work
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure you are in survival mode
2. Try to craft or shift-click items into chest or inventory

I have even updated to the current 1.6.2 snapshot and this is still an issue
Have you made sure touchscreen mode is turned off? it can be a bit glitchy. 🙂
I actually just turned it on and off again and it helped thanks a lot
So is it fixed?
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
