The Bug
Sometimes when jungle pyramids generate near trees, it's possible that a part of the tree. When looking at one of the leaves inside and pressing F3, it shows distance:7 even though it has no conection to the tree.
(When I made the 4th screenshot, one of the 2 leaf blocks had disappeared and I saw when the last leaf block disappeared)
How to reproduce:
Find a jungle pyramid. There's not a 100 percent chance the bug occurs.
Notice how the leaves are not connected to the logs.

World Type:
"Default" if you have not chosen one when creating the world.
For "Superflat": Additionally provide the generation preset.
For "Buffet": Additionally provide the generator type and biome you have selected.
Additional generation settings (in case you changed them): E.g. "Generate Structures", "Bonus Chest", ...
Seed: Can be obtained by using the
/seedcommand and clicking on the message in chatCoordinates: Can be copied to clipboard by pressing
F3+C
