Upon using Minecraft version 1.17, I was unable to join my partner's open LAN world at all whereas it had worked with no problems before in version 1.16.5. Every time I tried joining, I was given the error message seen in the provided screenshot (I censored my IP address for safety, if that information is necessary for some reason I can make a private post instead). As far as I know, no settings were changed except for updating to the newest release. We were not using any mods or modded launchers, just the default release like we had before. No other fixes found online helped resolve the issue, and I couldn't find any really related posts about this kind of issue that weren't from game versions that are years old. Could this be a bug from the 1.17 update? Any help, feedback, or suggestions are appreciated. 🙂
