So I bought Minecraft not too long ago then I try launching Then it crashes and gives me this

do you have any firewalls that are on? i had the same issue and i fixed it by turning off my firewall on mcfee. if you have mcfee make sure your firewall is off and see if it will work
side note: if you have any other third-party antivirus software like mcfee that has a firewall, turn that off, rather than just your main computer's firewall.
If anyone is having this issue and happens to come across this bug report, please try disabling your firewall.
I just happened to come across someone in the Minecraft Discord server (not the Mojira one) who had this issue, and after learning that Yggdrasil is the name of Minecraft's authentication server, and doing some tinkering (changing Microsoft account password and attempting to use a VPN) they discovered that it was a firewall issue on their computer.
Added after posting: haha I went from the Discord to here after they figured out the issue. The other comment made today was from them!
