As stated when you have baby chickens in a 1x1 on top of a slab with a carpet above them in another 1x1 block they no longer stay in the original block when they grow to adults. This has not been the case in the previous version and with the chicken as an adult being only 0.7 block high means that because 0.2 now appears above the original block it is forcing it out of the origin block into the one above. This looks to be possibly related to the clipping issue reported (MC-232495).

Chickens should remain in the origin block like previous versions when standing on slab with a carpet above in the next block.
