[MC-233078] I just bought Minecraft but it won't let me play

I wanted to play Minecraft so I bought it, made an account and everything, but in the "launcher" thing where it says play all I get is "whoops something went terribly wrong it looks like you encountered a bug" so yeah and now they're making me file this report I don't even know what's going on I just wanted to play Minecraft..
