While playing on my server (and singleplayer), I get strange lighting glitches; mobs turn black for a bit and players disappear (armor stays). I've checked to see if it happens when I'm looking a certain way or at something and stuff like that, it appears to be completely random. I've noticed it after I updated to 1.17.1 and not before. Ask if you need more information.

It may be the same thing, but I've never seen it with items and the player never turns black. It's only loaded entities that are affected. I will try to add some debug shots when I get them.

The issue with entities and other things appearing as black is MC-227881. As for the other issue, please provide some screenshots and/or videos of this problem occurring whilst the F3 debug screen is enabled.
