Villagers pick work station of the wrong profession

I have a trading hall with built in conversion, and have been converting large batches of villagers at a time. I know the curing will cause the villager to lose their job site and pick a new one so I expect to replace the job blocks a few times to line them up correctly, but the villagers (professions already locked in by trading) are picking any unclaimed job block, regardless of whether or not it is the correct type. For instance, in the screenshots, the farmer villager has a potential job site it wants to get to, but the block at that position is a cartography table.
