[MC-235094] Water creates its own source blocks under you

Every once in a while I will be swimming and go into a cave or type of opening and the water creates source blocks under me so I essentially start flying.

Please could you provide some steps on how to go about reproducing this problem, as I cannot recreate this is 1.17.1 or 21w42a? Additionally, providing some extra screenshots whilst the F3 debug screen is enabled would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙂
