hmm It seems to work differently depending the biome, I was in pale garden and darkness effect turned everything white.

I checked it a week or two ago and it works for us.
I did however rebooted my Switch beforehand. Not just with the menu option, but a hard reboot with the physical power button on the top of the Switch.

A difference in my situation is that it’s not about connecting to a Realm, but connecting to multiplayer instance on another device.
But the rest was the same: First Switch player has no issue to join the server. Second Switch player pressed + and selects the Switch profile, seems to load, but reverts to one player.
This is now resolved on my end, possibly by giving the Switch a hard reboot.

Yes, this issue is what we’re having as well!
We’ve got an personal server. Before, my kids were able to join in with the two of them on the same Switch, no problem. Since the update the first is still able to join. Then, when our second wants to join in, he picks his Nintendo Profile. It seems to load, but then reverts back to the single player screen.

Tried other profiles, same results.

Please have this fixed!

Today while in Minecraft with a friend, the achievement “hot tourist” unlocked itself a few moments after I loaded into the game.

Hello @Galaxy_2Alex, this is still an issue in 1.16.4. It affects my SRV record pointing to subdomain containing an "Ä". Joining on the subdomain itself (CNAME record) works fine with the "Ä". Joining on the Domain in ACE format (xn--....) works fine.

My friend plays on Java Edition 1.16.1 and has this issue. He'll play for a few minutes then get kicked, then will continue to be kicked every few seconds after joining. He is the realm owner, I don't have this issue on the realm.

Edit: He's still having the issue in 1.16.2

This is happening to the owner of the realm I play on as well. He will play for a few minutes then freeze and disconnect. After the first disconnect he will disconnect a lot faster after reconnecting. I have no issues on the realm, only the owner.

We're playing on Java Edition.

My friend and I are also suffering this issue, no crashes or disconnected, but when we come in the next day all of the progress is gone. My friend is the one paying for the Realm and he said he's not going to resubscribe if it's not fixed by the time it's time for him to renew.

I’m having the same issue, we updated the server to 1.14.6 on bedrock and it still says outdated server, realms pending within 48 hours when trying to join. I unenrolled from the beta and deleted the account and the Xbox hub app and reinstalled Minecraft but still no change
