Sun/map bug

I was on a server with a friend when they accidentally did the "kill all entities" command and destroyed a large wall of maps. We had another replica of it, so we copied the maps back to where they used to be. However, one map (only for me, not my friend) was completely black, except for an image of the minecraft sun in the middle. I rejoined the server and the map was back to normal, but the sun was way bigger than usual and had a pale version of the map that glitched previously on it, instead of the normal sun texture. Again, I was the only one to experience the issue.
