I have experienced this weird looking sun rising up in my World, I have provided screenshots of how this looks, but am not sure how to replicate it. all I remember is resetting my world icon twice and letting it sit for a bit till I got it just right then going about my minecraft day.
The Minecraft Sun returned to normal after I exited the game and leaving it for a while
