[MC-235965] Villagers wont trade

I can't trade with my Villagers. If I click on a trade it won't let you select it. I created new worlds in 1.16.5 and 1.17.1 without mods or data packs and still have the same problem. I have tried reinstalling minecraft and the problem still remains. I'm new to obs so I don't know how to record full screen. It is now Vannilla.

The villagers need a job and need to not be nitwits in order to trade.

They have jobs. Mostly Librarians.

1. Looks like it works fine.
2. You have a modded client (optifine), please check if this is the case in vanilla.
