Whenever I go to 1.8 and press F6, I get prompted to migrate to a Mojang account.
If I want to stream, I have to load the game first then open the browser and it's just so impractical. Please fix this issue!

1.8.9 is heavily outdated and no longer supported. Mojang is not going to re-release old versions of the game for a feature removed in 1.9, which released 5 years ago.
