Pistons not working on one-tick-pulses

The bug

I tried to power a piston using a one-tick-pulse and it didn't work. In front of the pistons are no blocks or entities, but it still wont work. If I add a normal repeater, it works. I used a block on top of a piston as a monostable circuit and took a redstone output, going directly into the piston. I tried it in different worlds in different locations.

Your "one tick pulse" makes contact with the block above the piston and not the piston itself. Am I missing something?

It's about tge left piston not extending for a moment (that wire does get powered for 1 game tick).

That's different; nothing is blocking the piston, and the wire was powered properly, as seen in the video; it is even visibly powered for that moment.
That report is about how wire is rather randomly powering and depowering other wire, rather than it being consistent regardless of rotation, mirroring, axis and even general positioning thus resulting in things (eg 2 pistons on top of each other) being turned on in a different order.

Jess Edward I am not talking about that piston - Im talking about that piston without the block on it. The piston with a block above it - where the redstone wire runs into - is just the one-tick-generator. The redstone wire after this piston, running into the second one, flashed for one redstone tick (This is normal) however the other piston does not extend if it gets a pulse that short. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.

Thank you for your report!
After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.

Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
