Mountainous terrain can appear in non-mountain biomes

I discovered a very large mountain with no snow, stone, or ice at the top at all. Upon reaching the top of a mountain, I checked the F3 screen and the biome was still listed as plains, even though I was clearly on top of a mountain.

This is just a very large landmass that generated. WAI.

This is a feature, not a bug. Height in the past depended on biomes, now it doesn't. This increases terrain diversity.

It seems very strange to see a mountain in a biome called "plains."
