Can no longer place vegetaion on snow blocks.
It worked fine in the experimental snapshot.
This probably causes trees not to generate in groves.

No, that describes that it cannot generate on snow blocks.
This one describes that it cannot be placed on snow blocks.
In that case this report is invalid. 1.18 experimental snapshot reports are only valid if they concern world generation differences between the two versions.
