i had a cape after migration, now i dont, where is it?

I entered into the trails and tails event with my minecon 2016 cape on my character, when i entered the changing booth to see what it was my cape and character were deleted. on reloading the game my minecon cape (orange creeper cape) and my migrator cape were both missing from my dressing room and my character was deleted/missing. ive checked back periodically to see if it was resolved, but theyre both not there yet. I dont know what to do at this point... there is also an error with my account when i log in that only displays for a quick second before it vanishes. any help would be appreciated in getting my capes back, thanks in advance.
Firstly, this isn't a bug, and don't be rude. Just press edit in your skin the cape is probably just unequipped.
