[MC-237694] Random Squares in the Underground

I don't know if it's considered a bug, but as the image shows, some random squares of usually 3x3 (not perfect, but with some holes and varying materials, like earth, stone, etc.), possibly only happens to me, but if it's an error, correct it, there's nothing to find in those little random squares.

You mean air pockets? Or do you mean patches of dirt, gravel, granite, diorite and andesite?

Squares usually filled with water, made of different materials like the examples you mentioned.

In the screenshot you've provided, this looks like the end of a cave and I don't really see an issue here. Could you please provide the world type, seed, and coordinates of where this problem can be seen so that myself and others can further investigate this? Thanks 🙂
