If you have a repeating command block or a datapack with a command executing every tick to merge data in a piglin that isn't normally data piglin can have (for example, Fuse:20, or Time:-100000), when they pick up a gold item and you kill them, they drop duplicates, based on how many open inventory slots they have. The items also becomes stacks if stackable. To replicate, have a repeating command block with this command: /execute as @e[type=minecraft:piglin] run data merge entity @s {Time:-10000000}

Summon a piglin, drop a gold item near it. Once it picks it up, kill it.

You will receive up to 8 stacks of the item.
