I guess I don't really know what to call this but I've been coming across massive patches of stone beach biomes all around my world. This is a world generation bug so I don't think it has to do with my system. The issue is very likely related to the fact that stone beaches as a biome have not been removed, and because of the new terrain generation, this has resulted in large patches of stone beaches appearing all around Minecraft worlds. If it continues to exist in future snapshots, let me know. If this is intentional then that's fine but finding that out will confuse me greatly.

I can confirm, but this is probably intended.
I have nothing against stone beaches generating, but I don't like the fact that they take up half or even the most of the regular beaches. It also often causes temperature clashes.

I might close this because so far from what I've seen in 21w42a, the terrain oddities seem to not apply all that much anymore, but I will keep looking in case anything looks particularly unusual.
I really don't think they look that good either, and makes the terrain look very jarring. I guess I'm also weirded out by the lack of smooth transitions between land and oceans due to the world generation changes.
