Question: is blending already present within 21w42a?
If so, seems it need some tweaking.. As loading an older world does not yet have the additional "underground" (meaning the layers under the older bedrock-layer) and the transition from old to new chunks can be very harsh.
(If not, any idea on when it will be present? 🙂)

This is a bug tracker, not the right place to ask questions. It is only supposed to be used for reporting issues in game. Blending is not yet implemented in Java Edition.
