multiple terrain bugs in java that do not seem to fit in normally. many floating islands and villages that shouldn't have spawned where they spawned.

This is normal shattered terrain, not a bug.
The majority of the community wants to keep this old "far-lands" feeling...

i dont think the entire world is supposed to keep this far lands feeling. the desert shouldn't have giant floating islands

As others have already said, this is shattered terrain, which is somewhat weird but it is rare and intentional.
