Note that I am using a texturepack to make pointed dripstone more visible in this screenshot.
Some large patches of pointed dripstone generate without any variation of height at all. Majority of the stalagmites are 1 block tall. Also I've only noticed this issue for patches of pointed dripstone on the ground (stalagmites), not for patches hanging form the ceiling(stalactites).
What I expected to happen is: Patches of pointed dripstone would generate stalagmites with varying height
